In these 10 hymns Peryaazhwar proclaims that, all diseases will leave one, who has placed Vishnu in his heart.

Neikudathai patri yerum yerumbugal pol nirandu yengum kaikondu nirkindra noigalal,
Kalam pera uyyapomin mei kondu vandhu pugundu vedapiranar kidanthar,
Mai konda pambanai odum pandanru pattinam kappe!...........................443.

O diseases , that have spread through out my body like rows upon rows of ants holding and climbing on a pot of ghee,
Your time is up! Escape as quickly as possible!,
One who is praised by the Veda's has entered me along with his serpent bed and is reclining therein,
My body is not like before. It is now well guarded!

*Hey diseases, who have been troubling me all this while ,
I am going to tell you something. Listen to me carefully.
One who grazes cows has made my body his temple
Just one another thing! All you evil consequences of my deeds,who have been torturing me all these days ,
You have no more hold on me.Walk away both of you! This body is under protection ..............448.
