420--**தேவுடைய  மீனமாய் ஆமையாய் ஏனமாய் அரியாயை குறளாய்  ,
மூஉருவில் இரானாய் கண்ணனாய் கற்கியாய் முடிப்பான் கோயில் ,
சேவலோடு பெடை அன்னம் செங்கமல மலரேறி  ஊசலாடி 
பூவணை மேல் துதைந்து எழு செம்பொடி ஆடி  விளையாடும் புனலரங்கமே .




*One who destroys evil and protects his devotees by taking various avatars like the bright fish,
turtle, boar, Narsimhan, Vamana, Parasuram, SriRama, Balarama, Sri Krisnna and Kalki ,is residing,in the temple known as Srirangam,

Where pairs of swans climb over red lotuses and sway in them . Then burying themselves in the beds of flowers ,
rise to smear each other playfully with red pollen dust!. ............................ 420

423.*Thuppu daiyarai adaivadhellam servidhathu thonaivaryendruvoppilenagilam ninadainthen yaanaikku ne arul seidhamaiyal yeipinai vandunallium podhu angedhum naan unnai ninaikamatenappodahikku ippodhe solivaithen ,Arangaththaravanai palliyane!

The support of the strong is most needed when one loses all hopes in life.Though I am unfit to seek your help,

I nevertheless do seek it.Since your compassion is boundless, having saved even an animal -elephant [Gajendran]

I will not be able to think of you when death draws near,Instead of asking your protection then, I am seeking it in advance now, from you!

'One' who is reclining on the bed made by Adisesha at SriRangam!

*When my end is near and Yama's messengers narrow the entrance of my house and take a firm hold of me,

My pleading with them to spare me will be of no avail! One who bears the Conch and the Chakra

One who is reclining on Adisesha at SriRangam,I am reciting all your sacred names now itself when I am able to do so,

Please bear that in mind and protect and shield me from being battered around ..........425

*Madhava!My speech is not pure. Therefore I am unfit to utter your names or praise you!

Yet my tongue knows only to chant your sacred names !It terrifies me that,as I am unable to control my foolish tongue, I may incur your wrath!

I am helpless! One with Garuda as his flagstaff! You must accept my praises . In the manner in which ,

people of this world tend to read messages even in the cawing of crows! .............. 433.


 434--சழக்கு நாக்கொடு புன்கவி சொன்னேன் சங்கு சக்ரம் ஏந்தும் கையானே
*434'.Chazhuku naakodu punkavisonen , sangu chakram yendhum kaiyane....

One who holds conch and chakra in his hands! With a foul tongue I am singing your praises,

Is it not the duty of elders to forbear the mistakes of those younger to them with patience?

I have no one to oversee me!Further, my heart will never worship another but you!

Who has swallowed 7 worlds at the time of destruction,and then brought them forth!

Does it matter if a spotted deer has an extra spot?

435--**நன் மை  தீமைகள் ஒன்றும்  அறியேன் நாரணா என்னும் இத்தனை அல்லால் ,
புன்மையால்  உன்னை  புள்ளுவம்  பேசிப் புகழ்வானன்று கண்டாய்  திருமாலே உன்னுமாறு உன்னை  ஒன்றும்  அறியேன் ஓவாதே நமோ நாரணா என்பன ,
வன்மையாவது உன் கோயிலில் வாழும் வைட்டணவன் என்னும் வன்மை கண்டாயே .


*Narayana! I do not know what is good or that which is bad,

Due to my lowly nature I do not know the proper way to worship you.Nor do I know of the right method of meditating upon you,

All that I know is only to chant' NamoNarayana' ceaselessly.And my only honour and tittle is that,

I am a Vaishnavaite who has taken refuge in your temple................. 435.
