The Celestial's--Deva's have gathered in large crowds ,
Those muni's who have undertaken severe penances,
As well as Indran who has come in search of you and is waiting seated on his elephant Airavadham
And the maruts ,yakshas , vidyadhars and ghandharvas of incomparable beauty and artistry,
Are all waiting at the entrance of your gate to worship you!My lord!
There is not an inch of place left in the earth or in the sky,
To accommodate these milling crowds that are pushing one another restlessly,
In the quest of worshipping your feet,
Sri Ranga ! Wake up and bless us all!

Andarathamarargal kootangal ivaio?
Arunthave munivarum marutarum ivaro?
Indirnanai thanum vandithavano?
Emberuman! un koil vasal,
sundara nerukka vichdara nooka,
iyakkarum mayanginar thiruvadi thozhuvaan,
andaram paridamillai matridhuvo?
Arangathamma! palli yezhunindhirai!
