Thirupalliyezhuchi---2.

The jasmine plants are in full bloom ,
They are embraced by a gentle breeze blowing from the east!
The swans that have passed the night comfortably, sleeping over a bed of flowers have woken up,
And are flapping their wings to dislodge the dew that had drenched them all night through!
SriRanga! The saviour of the elephant that was caught and tormented by a crocodile having a huge crater like mouth bearing rows of poisonous sharp teeth ,
Wake up, Arise from your bed and bless us!

The verse in Tamil---

Khozhunkodi mullaiyin kozhumalaranavi,
koorndu kunathisai marutham idhuvo,
yezhundana malarani palli kolanam,
yeen pani nanaindu thamarunchirakudari,
vizhungiya mudalaiyin pilamburai pazh vai,
vellaiyiruru adan vida thinukanunghi,
azhunghia annayi nirundur kedhuthu ,
Arangathamma! PAalli yezhundhuarulaye!
