Thirupalliyezhuchi----5.

Sri Ranga, birds are squabbling in the groves,
Darkness has departed and dawn has broken,
From the eastern side the roar of the ocean is heard ,
The free souls are awaiting with flower garlands with bees humming over them,
To worship you,
Vibeeshan the king of Lanka has made you , the ruler of Ayodhya to halt here and preside over us,
And comes here often to worship you,
My bhagwaan!Wake up ! And bless us!

The verse in Tamil--

Pullambin putkallum pumpozhilgalin vaai,
Poyitru kangul pughunda pulari,
Kalandu kunadisai kanai kadalaravam,
alagalanthodaiyal kondu adiyinnai panivaan,
amaragal pughundhanar adalil amma!,
illangayar kon vazhipaddu seikovil,
Emberuman!palli yezhundhirai!
