**Karavaigal pinsendru ganamserthu unnbom!
Arivondrum illadha aayarkulathu unthannai piravi perunthanai punniyam yamudaiyom,
Kurai ondrum illadha Govinda!
unnthanodu uravel namakking khozhika ozhiyadhu!
Arriyadha pillaigalom anbhinaal un thannai siru per azhaithanaiyumm seeri aruladhe Irraiva!
Nee thaarai paraiye lorembpavai.

Meaning:
             **   We eat and nourish ourselves by merely grazing our cattle's in forests,
We the cattle herders are a clan that is devoid of knowledge and wisdom.
How ever by your birth in our clan we are greatly blessed and are thereforedeeply grateful!
O Govinda the flawless One !
The relationship between yourself and ourselves is such that it cannot be destroyed by neither of us!
O bhagwan ,we the ignorant children must be forgiven for calling you with utmost  familiarity  with common names , we do so ,out of sheer love and devotion!
Grant us boons as you think is worthy of conferment upon us!
