What happened? What need not have happened.
How am I ever going to wipe the humiliation,
And pain my son took to his pyre?

He passed away within few months of doing so at the age of 24. . I am a Indian, 67 years old ,female,Hindu,Brahmin,Tamiliyan,Iyengar[vadagalai] I am residing at Chennai for the past 33 years continuosly ie from 1991-till date viz 2024, in Tamil Nadu,in India .
