Surrogacy.

When a woman comes forward on her own accord to bear a child of a childless couple, known to her and willingly accept the rigours of childbirth and the emotional ramifications ,out of compassion ,it is truly a sacrifice that has no parallel.

When a woman lends her womb to total strangers for a fee ,to lift herself and her family out of poverty ,isn't it commercial?Is it condemnable?

Ensconced in a middle class society all my life ,I have no first hand knowledge of the debilitation's of crippling poverty and having reached an age and experience where 'I have seen it all' ,I can't judge a poor, young and illiterate woman's bubbling enthusiasm for life to be met only by such drastic measures.

Yet a niggling doubt persists.
