Thirumaalai --verses 7 and 11.

'O' great scholars , you who have read and examined great many treatises,
How can you harbour some one else in your hearts?,
Even if my head is severed I will not die, I promise this!
This will happen due to the grace of the one and only god, 'One' who destroyed Lanka with his bow!

One who subdued the raging waters of the ocean with a bow,
The One who defeated the king of Rakshas ,
Is the one who is permanently residing within the towering walls of Srirangm,
If you do not recognise this and utter his name you invite curses upon yourselves even as foetus in the womb,
Do not tarry!

The verses in Tamil:

pullai yaramagi nindra buddhodu samanamyellam,
Kallai yara katru mandar kanbaro ketparothum?
Thalai arrupu undum sagen sathiyam kanmin aiyya!
silaiyinnal yilangaai setr'devane devanavaan'!------------7.

Oruvillal vongu munneradaithu ulagangaluiya,
seruville' arakkar konnai'setra nam sevaganar,
maruviaya periakoil madhil 'thiruvaranga menna',
karuville thiruvilaadheer! kalathai khazhikindreere.-------------11.
